Elliott Grinnell-Bhutto is a childrens’ & middlegrade author/illustrator moving from California back to his home state, Massachusetts. He earned his BFA in Illustration at Montserrat College of Art, and it’s in New England that he found his love of spooky houses and epic fantasy. When he’s not exploring weird winding roads and following odd cats down aesthetically pleasing alleyways, he enjoys obnoxious patterns, cryptic shadows, shifty characters, and long walks on the beach. He lives with his husband and their calico cat, Shirley.
More than anything, as a trans illustrator Elliott wants to create colorful and diverse work that highlights LGBTQ+ children, trans and gender nonconforming characters, and those who until very recently didn’t have a voice in media. He loves middlegrade and YA fantasy, and would love to work more in chapter books and graphic novel. Anything colorful, spooky or magical is a huge plus!
Elliott is currently seeking representation, and is available for projects and illustration work in juvenile publishing!
